How surprising am I?
The Church has started her countdown to launch.
It's scheduled for high noon.
It's Pentecost.
The disciples will be more surprising and exciting
than the latest trick shot
or dance on tick tock.
Born from above,
they're like the wind.
The liturgy, sacraments
are the groundwork for launch.
They set the stage.
The Holy Spirit takes it from here.
Spontaneous acts of heroic virtue,
surprising generosity,
unprecedented conversions,
and a new faith to see the signs.
Marked most of all by joy.
The fruit of the Spirit
